I've got the permanent contract today!
I've got it! I've finally signed it and I've got a save job now. I can think about buying a house, having a baby... I'm so relieved and happy. I wanted to say extra-thanks again to those lovely people on my flist who made the references about my English skills. You were wonderful and it helped to get me the job. Thanks so much.

Really good news?
Now that I'm free of all the drama and angst of limited contracts and the threatening joblessness... I'll write waaaaay more. *grins*
I'm on chapter 40 for TSUS - it's going to be finished soon. Writing is fun again and I've got my head free for it.

I checked in at work today even if I'm officially on vacation. My bf declared me crazy but my boss was glad to see me. 'Course there was some stuff to be taken care of but after a couple of hours I was home again.

Bf and I did another bicycle-tour today. It was way more strenuous than the last time because we drove through woods and over fields and somehow it always seemed to go uphill. My legs feel like jelly but I'm happily exhausted.

I had a scare yesterday because my brother who is a truck driver trainee had an accident. Nobody was injured and the other guy is to blame because he at first indicated to turn right, then changed his mind and crashed into my brother's truck. He was also lucky to have some people around who witnessed what happened.

Oh and if I'm boring you with all this info, feel free to scratch me from the flist. I'll take no offense.

Today was a great day. At first a friend and then my boss called me to tell me that one candidate who had first right to "my hopefully future job" pulled back his application. So I have big chances to actually get the job.

Later we were out to the Skybar with a few friends. That's a bar on the top level of a parking garage in the middle of the city with a beach ambiance completely with sand and palm trees. We had lots of delicious cocktails. I had "Sex on the beach" two times and one Acabullco. I just love the names. *heee*

We then went to the cinema and watched "Die Hard 4.0". Damn, Bruce is still all sexy. And the bad boy was very, very handsome, too. I couldn't stop seeing resemblances to Dean though, and desperately wished to see him in that role. LOL.

Tomorrow we'll have diner over at my grandma's. I'm looking forward to that. I haven't seen her for a while now. I'm sure there's lots of stuff to talk about. *grin*

My ass hurts. That is maybe TMI for some of you but it's not like you might think.
Boyfriend and I had a nice bicycle trip this afternoon. I don't remember when I last sat on a bicycle. I think it was in school times. That's 8 years ago. *urgh* I walk as if I have a very big case of blue balls - and that as a girl. Not funny, not at all.

About the rest-life: it sucks. Biggest suckage ever. All applications I put out and went to job interviews for, I got back with a "thanks, but no thanks." My contract ends at the end of the year and times running fast - especially with 40 new graduates in October close on my heels. Irony has eaten my depression and got food poisoning which results in madness... and I feel fine...

BTW: I absolutely luuuuurve the latest Placebo CD.

Some of you know that I only have a time-limit contract here at work and that I was always under pressure if I would get another offer from my bosses when it ends, especially since the perspective to actually get a new offer here is not good at all. Today, I got a new offer for a job from another office, still time-limited but until 31st december 2007. That means more than one year I'll get money every month! YAY! I am pretty happy. My first day on the new job is the 30th october. I've got to move over in another building and stuff but yay! Until the end of 2007 I am safe!

I just wanted to say hello to you all. I'm pretty good since I am on holidays as is my boyfriend. *grins* My job is still unsure, there won't be any news if it'll go on or not until September - just great since 30th of September is my officially last day. *sighs*

Some good news: I'm writing. I'm writing "3 Inches" right now with the most lovely suggestions of

mygothangel. I already finished 3 new chapters and I'm working on another now. I'll wait until I have finished "3 Inches" completely (around chapter 15), then I'm gonna post again. My god - it's been ages!
