In some Supernatural fanfic "The Outsiders" by S. E. Hinton is a book Dean or Sam kept close or referred to as something special. So I was curious and got it. I read it as the first English book I've ever read completely and yeah, I cried at the end.

Oh, yes. I love that book. I also love 'Tex', that's my second favorite of hers.

I love how her boys are all alone, trying to be tough, and then something happens and suddenly there's hugs, or a 'honey' or tears...

She rocks. You need to read Tex, too! :)
