my thoughts on 3x12

I've seen SPN 3x12...

When Dean holds up the wigs and then gets the info that Bela told the FBI where to find them I went all: YAY DISGUISE. They'll put on the wigs and weird closing and do the houdini thing. Imagine my disappointment when they actually got caught.

That Agent Steven... I knew he was possessed the moment he was on screen. *grrr*

"Kinky... we don't swing that way." Dean says to Hendriksen but I can't shake off hearing the "But I do."

When Hendriksen started talking shit about Daddy touching Dean in bad places and Sam got really, really angry I was waiting for some psych-abilities to show, some invisible strangulation would have been fine. And I thought about the movie "Frailty".

So, possessed!Steven shows up to kill Sam (because he's the boy-king and whatnot) in order by Lilith and he shoots Dean first? Stupid demon. I loved the way Sam reacted and Dean was sooo brave with all the pain.

The way Sam recites Latin in this episode was..... HOT and it remembered me very much of the way Sam became in the last episode when Dean died. Same goes for the way Sam lures Nancy near the cell, puppy eyes and all, just to grab her. It's interesting how Dean just watches and does nothing. I'm relieved he asks Sam the moment they're alone again.

TATTOOS! How did they find a way for not being possessed suddenly? I thought that was near impossible? No mention about who helped them. Maybe Sam found that out in those 3 months he hunted alone? -I'm wondering if he still has that scar from the gun wound? In slash context... wouldn't Dean wonder about it?- And why didn't we get to see them inked? I'd sooo hoped to watch that.

I loved the moment between Dean and Hendriksen. Interesting how Dean told Hendriksen that he thinks the world's gonna end - I don't think he'd ever tell Sam that. Anyway, to Sam it would sound like Dean had given up on Sam.

Ruby arrives... Sam's still keeping secrets about really, really important things Dean needs to know for strategy and planing. And I think this episode showed who really is the one with the practical plans and the look for the important things: Dean. I'll never want to read a fic about him being stupid with anything again! Just because we don't know any scores Dean got, doesn't mean he's stupid.

When Ruby rants about them being idiots for letting the colt get stolen and she refers to Sam's "thick, clusy, idiotic hands" and he says "Ruby." in that begging tone... *Fuck - they've got a D/s-relationship and Sam's the one on his knees. Urgh.*

Somewhere I thought: Hey, Ruby is the big new leader and how clever, hiding in plain sight, finding out all and everything about your rivals and kill them off when they trust you.

Then I thought the whole "sacrificing myself gig" is a desperate attempt to get out of the "double-agent-demon-role" she's playing which is getting way over her head.

I wonder if Sam's decision to go with Ruby's plan was for the purpose of saving Dean, getting him out of the situation safely. He's lost Dean last episode, lived without him for month and he could easily lose him again now. Why not sacrifice one girl to save Dean and kill off all the demons, too? Last episode Sam sacrificed Bobby to get Dean back.

I like they way Hendriksen says what is on Dean's mind. Maybe, somewhere in an older episode Dean says exactly the same or maybe Sam does? I'm not sure, it just sounded so familiar.

Did anybody else think of lots of sex with Nancy and both brothers when they said virgin sacrifice? Oh and I thought of Dean grabbing her and running of to have sex with her in a broom closet to safe her from the others' plan.

Dean has the plan - Sam wanted to take the easy way, the plan Ruby offered, who's the good soldier now?

Is there a reason why Sam is always on the left side from Dean? He sits down left on the bed in the cell after lots of shuffling around with the chains. He's held against the wall on the left, Dean right. Shotgun is left...

When Dean and Hendriksen end up fighting back to back I was sooo sure how the series was going to continue: Sam will be captured and brought to the new leader and Dean and Hendriksen try to find him. In the meanwhile the new leader offers Sam the contract if he steps down from his right to become the boy-king and serves the new leader as evil!Sam.....

I hate that Hendriksen died. If the war became to much to be ignored by the civilians it would have been great to have a contact at the FBI for big guns and support.

That Lilith-kid? *grrrr* Remember "The Anointed One" from Buffy Season 2? Spike just pulled up the cage because all that talk about how mighty the little boy was--- rubbish! I really, really hope that white-eye will get out of that little girl soon. Yeah, it shows its ruthlessness if it doesn't shrink away to use a kid's body to get around and murder - but really. *rolls eyes*

That it has while eyes kinda throws me and maybe it's no demon but something sent from the "GOD" side of the play to stop the upcoming boy-king? I'm not good enough with all that mythology but why shouldn't white-eye be something godgiven to stop evil!demonleader!Sam....

Which brings me to the moment just before the episode ended where Dean looks up at the ceiling with this look in his eyes, asking for help, for guidance maybe. Who? God? Daddy? Thought Sam was the believing one.

Enough said. Thoughts?

Ooh, i luff Lilith. I love that she's a child, because that will make the boys *flinch*, yes it will.
Lilith was possibly Adam's first wife, who would not lie down under him, but wanted to be on top. He couldn't deal.
She is also, variously, a demoness, a succubus, and the Queen of Heaven. And also the partner/wife of Samael, who is purportedly the Angel of Death and/or Satan. She is old, she is amazing, i luff!

I luffed the tattoos. Wheeeeeee!
I hated that Victor died, that was just....grrrrrr! He was so awesome, bonding with Dean, and you just *know* he was gonna start hunting after that, trying to do stuff....

Oh, Victor.

And i wanted to smack Ruby. She killed people getting *in* to the jail, by her own admission. The only people that died by Lilith's hand were Victor, Nancy and the last officer. Everyone else on the tv news broadcast was *already* dead.

So her rant about how they 'failed' made me really pissed off.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I love my show! So much! I love that Dean had *no* trouble whatsoever thinking that plain-Jane Nancy was *not* a virgin. Yay!
:)
