druffine | I love my (nonexistent) penis!

Well, look Druffine writes something in her LJ!

K, something that keeps my mind occupied for a while now:

I don't have a penis.
Yeah, okay, you are allowed to laugh.
What I mean is, I don't have a penis (stop laughing dammit!) but I write m/m slash.
So I went on "insider information" research. I looked for male slash writers. Thanks to the nicknames we all are using so deliberately genderunspecific, I was not very happy with my research results.

Just accepted to the m-mSlashaholics I posted my problem there. Well, I didn't get much answers and the few answers were very short and I can't shake the feeling that they were offended by my question. But that could just be my usual overly touchy self.
Well, to clarify it again: I did not mean that men or women write better slash. I just wanted to look into fanfic written by men to get some clues how it might feel for a person who got a "I love my penis" sticker.
