Damn... I'm AVERAGE
Your EQ is 107 |
![]() You're a bit moody, and sometimes you have trouble coping with every day life. But you're by no means depressed, and your good days definitely out number your bad days. There's nothing really wrong with your life, but you may not be living up to your actual potential. Negative emotions can be a real drain of your energy, so make sure you have them under control. |

Well, better than being some kind of emotional time bomb!
:)
*waves*
Heya, bay-bee. How's the house going?
no subject
No time-bombing here. *LOL*
House is growing. They started on the second floor the day before yesterday. I'll prolly have new pics up at the end of the next week.
We got some offers for the bathroom stuff. Wow - that's expensive if you want to have something not average. *grins*
Something interesting up your part of the big USA?

Ooh, not too much. Planted a couple things yesterday, which was nice. I have more bulbs - day lillies - to plant, but it looks like rain, so i think i'll wait. It rained last night so it's muddy outside. I'm not much of a gardener - i prefer to stay clean, heh!

I'm kinda curious what kind of gardener I will turn out when we move in the house. Wow, grammatically difficult to express the next thing. How do I say that I never had a garden until when I have one in a few month? That hurts my brain.
Hey, remember that prostitute!Dean fic I started forever ago?

You would say something like 'i've never lived anywhere that I could have a garden of my own until the new house' or 'the new house will have space for a garden - i've never had that before!'
Pretty much like you said it. :)
Um....hrm. I don't. I don't really like prostitute fic so it's possible i didn't read it? But, you know, also my memory sucks, so......
:)

Tenses are difficult.
Oh, you read that fic because I asked you to and you gave me your opinion on it then. It wasn't so much about the prostitution, more about a Dean who'd lost his memories and earned his living on the street until he met Sam in a bar who dragged him off to Bobby's to find out if Dean is Dean or not. Wow, I'm crap at summaries.
Did you start out in Buffy fandom or was there something else before that?

Hrmmm, well....i started *writing* in the Harry Potter fandom, ages ago, and then moved on to Buffy and then Supernatural, with a little dabbling of Firefly and RPS in there.
I started *reading* Sentinel fic, and then also Highlander and Bandom stuff and Sharpe stuff. Mostly i was just desperate for some boy-on-boy stories, whether it have explicit sex or no, i didn't care. But the sex is nice, too. :)
Oh, and then....LOTRps and Harry Potter and that's when i started writing. Heh.

Oh, you covered a lot of ground. LOL. I never got Harry Potter. I always see the characters the way they looked in the first movie when I try a fic. Kinda squicks me.
I started with Buffy and with some Stargate in the middle I moved on to Supernatural, strayed a bit to Twilight. Recently, I went back to read some Buffy classics, it felt like coming home somehow, relaxing. Have you ever felt the same about any fandom?

I don't mind a young Harry and a young Draco, say. The same age kind of thing doesn't bother me. Or say Harry at sixteen/seventeen and Snape, i was okay with that. Most of the stuff i read was 'ten years later' kind of stuff, which was cool.
Hrmmmm....i dunno. I guess not. It's all writing, it's all 'other worlds', which i've been sliding away into since i was a kid. Fantasy is always good.

Oh, I should have made myself clearer. The squick didn't lie so much in the age but in the unmanliness of the guys. I just couldn't find anything sexy about them. Sorry. The only really sexy and interesting character for me was Snape -- I admit I read some hot Harry/Snape fic -- but he's been casted into the sub-role too much with for me not Dom-like people...
I just like my guys rough and hard and naked. LOL.

And then, as the actors got older...wow. So i'm all for it. Heh. And Snape/Alan Rickman is.....wowza. I've never seen Snape as a subordinate personality - i wouldn't enjoy any fics like that.
:)

Yeah, that squicked me!
LMAO

It would only have bothered me if i'd been reading lots of 11 year old Harry with Snape or something, and since i avoided all that....
